No overtime available. Job Summary: Shades of Brooklyn, LLC is seeking one (1) Electronic Health Records (EHR) Specialist. This full-time, temporary position will be responsible for managing electronic health records (EHR), ensuring the accuracy and integrity of patient information, and supporting staff in using the EHR system. Key Duties: 1. Data Entry and Management: Accurately enter and maintain patient information in the electronic health records system. Update patient records with new information, including diagnoses, treatments, and test results. 2. Record Organization and Retrieval: Organize electronic health records for easy access and retrieval by healthcare professionals. Retrieve patient records as needed for medical appointments, procedures, and consultations. 3. Quality Assurance: Conduct regular audits to ensure the integrity and accuracy of electronic health records. Identify and rectify discrepancies or errors. 4. Security and Privacy Compliance: Adhere to HIPAA regulations, maintaining confidentiality and safeguarding patient information from unauthorized access or disclosure. 5. System Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Monitor the EHR system’s performance, report issues to IT support, and assist in troubleshooting software or hardware problems. 6. Training and Support: Provide training and support to healthcare staff on effectively using the EHR system, assisting colleagues in locating patient information as needed. Job Details: • Education: High School Diploma or GED required. • Experience: 9 months of experience required. No on the job training provided. • Compensation: $31.15 per hour, paid bi-weekly. A single workweek will be used to compute wages. • Housing: Employer will provide or arrange housing for workers, if needed. • Tools and Equipment: Employer will provide all tools, supplies, and equipment required for the job at no charge to the worker. • Reimbursement: H-2B workers will be reimbursed for all visa-related fees (including visa processing, border crossing, and other required fees, excluding passport fees) during the first workweek. • Transportation and Subsistence: Employer will provide daily transportation to and from the worksite, or reimburse travel costs if the worker completes at least half of the employment period. Return transportation will be provided if the worker completes the employment period or is dismissed early by the employer. Daily subsistence rates: $15.88 per day without receipts, or up to $59 per day with receipts. • Deductions: All legally required deductions from workers’ paychecks will be made.
